My name is Carol. I live in Wisconsin with my husband, son and three dogs and I love to cook. I also love photography so this is my way of combining my two passions. I’m not a professional cook but growing up in a Sicilian home certainly had its perks. Memories of my Grandmothers kitchen instantly bring to mind the wonderful smell of Italian bread made daily. She used to make 7 loaves a day! My mother was an excellent cook also. Some of her specialties were spiedini, homemade tomato sauce, eggplant caponata, lasagna, Sicilian steak, pizza, homemade Italian sausage and calamari to name a few.
